Blancett® 900 series flow meter is specifically designed to measure floodwater line flow in secondary oil recovery options. The flow meter is designed with rotary vane and multi-jet mechanisms to provide reliable and long-term flow measurement with minimum maintenance. Features interchangeable inlet inserts with three different sized pre-calibrated orifices for low, medium and high meter flow ranges. Easy to install by facing the flow arrow in the same direction of the fluid flow and requires minimal maintenance over the life of the meter.
Operation
- Fluid enters the inlet port and passes through the pre-selected orifice into the cylindrical measuring chamber
- Flowing fluid is separated into two streams, rotating a vaned impeller at a speed directly proportional to flow rate
- The impeller is connected to a meter register through a magnetic drive assembly. Each impeller rotation is mechanically tabulated and displayed by the register atop the meter
Application
- Oil & Gas industry
- The flow of liquids and gases must be measured during every phase of exploration, production and transportation
- Used across the entire oil and gas industry, providing solutions for the most demanding exploration and drilling, well operation and production, and water and wastewater applications.
