The Chemline Plastics Type 58 butterfly valves are designed for on/off and throttling control applications in heavy industries. Valve bodies are wafer style one-piece molded in Polypropylene (PP). The flow direction is bidirectional. Valve will seal closed with pressure on either side. A higher pressure/temperature safety factor is a bonus especially for hazardous services.
PP is used in a wide variety of applications from acids and alkali’s to organic solvents as well as pure water.
