64 Series adjustable regulators usually reduce tank pressure to an intermediate pressure for use by another regulator. They may be used as high-pressure regulators on distribution systems when used in conjunction with first-stage downstream regulators. When equipped with an internal relief valve (64SR Series), the regulator may be used as a final-stage regulator on high-pressure systems. 64KB Series has a special PTFE diaphragm protector that makes it suitable for anhydrous ammonia NH3 service.

Notes: 64 Series regulators do not have an internal relief and should be installed with additional/eternal over pressure protection. These units should not be installed in fixed piping serving 14 in. w.c. 35 mbar appliance systems. Please consult with your LPG Equipment Distributor for more information. If the installation location makes the ignition of vented gas a possibility, then a vent line should be installed from the Type 64SR vent to a safe location.
