EPA compliant systems turn spent aerosol cans from a hazardous waste to recyclable steel. Punctured, discharged, cans do not meet the definition of hazardous waste per EPA 40 CFR 261.23(a)(6), and thus can be treated as recyclable scrap metal. Standard Aerosolv® System includes puncturing unit with plastic sleeve, color changing coalescing/carbon filter cartridge, anti-static wire and goggles to enhance safety.
