Open top 5 gallon pail is for general use for non-hazardous materials or shop use. The pail is constructed of 29 gauge steel and has a rust inhibitor interior, which slows the oxidation process prior to filling. The pail includes a 9 gauge metal wire handle with a plastic grip for easy handling and pouring.
Note: Rust inhibitor applied to the interior of unlined steel containers is a primer that helps inhibit the formation of rust during transit and storage - it does not prevent rusting. If empty pails will be stored for longer periods or in higher humidity conditions, consider a phenolic or epoxy lining.
