Morrison Bros. 178 Series Threaded Style Fill Cap and Adapter is designed for tank filling applications where a tight fill connection is not required. The adapter permanently threads onto the riser pipe of fill nipple and the cap threads onto the adapter.
Note: The 178DT is a drop tube adapter designed with 2 in. straight pipe threads to secure a Morrison 419 drop tube to the fill riser
