285 Series bottom clean-out cast iron Y-type line strainers are used in pipelines to filter debris from flowing into and damaging equipment such as pumps or meters. Strainer basket is easily removable for cleaning or replacement. They come with female x female NPT connection ends with mesh sizes from 6 to 100.
